ECU Flash for 2017-24 Yamaha YZF R6
Engine - Stock Exhaust - Stock or Modified, Air Filter - Stock or aftermarket
Changes Throttle plates map, removes restriction. Throttle plate map has been developed through hours of on dyno and track testing to deliver more power above 7,000 RPM then a standard de-restricted map. Less engine brake, increasing the slipper clutch effect.
Fuel delivery has been changed and calibrated to provide super crisp throttle response through entire RPM range, more power, and consistency. Race Fuel (most popular VP's MR12) fuel table has been developed to give the best performance possible.
Updated secondary injector balance, Updated Cold starting map.
Updated ignition timing map, with option for MR12 (Race Fuel) timing.
Velocity stack switch over, updated to maintain a smooth power curve with full system or slip-on exhaust.
Option to disable EXUP valve, and remove from bike.
Option to disable 0% fuel cut. Smooths on/off throttle response.
Option to disable PAIR valve. To remove system from engine with block off plates.
Option to increase or decrease RPM limiter from it's stock 16,000 limit.
Option to remove top speed limiter, a must need for road racing or track day motorcycles.
Option to disable stock O2 sensor/Closed loop fuel area, needed for close course competition. Allows optimum fuel mapping with smooth and crisp cruising throttle response.
Option to lower radiator fan activation operation. Keeps you bike cool during hot summit traffic days or cruising the boulevard.
Race Tools are available for this ECU. YAM-RT-R6 (requires purchase of race tools package, which includes a new precision strain guage shift sensor) Race tool features, enables auto-blipper for lighting fast downshifts. A launch control feature enables a second RPM limit for wide open throttle starts with rider focusing solely on proper clutch engagement. A Pit Road Limiter can be activated for racing organizations that limit pit road speeds. This feature can be enabled on/off with a separate toggle switch or run through a OEM left bar cluster rocker switch( ie, dimmer switch).
*Bench flashed ECU's may require FI lights cleared after ECU is reinstalled in motorcycle.
**Flashing is performed on your ECU. We do not exchange ECU's. Once purchased a downloadable work order will be emailed. Please fill in options to the best of your ability, and send in with your ECU. Options will be verified once we receive your ECU and work order.
