Product Description
ECU Flash for 2017-23 Honda CBR1000RR
In Honda’s release of the new 2017 CBR1000RR they upgraded their ECU features with ETV and 5 Power modes. 3 different engine braking levels given for each different power mode. Beyond the standard restriction removal flash, we have optimized a couple of extra features and throttle plate maps to give you a variety of options to fit your riding style and throttle response needs.
Power mode 1, the 10500 RPM throttle backdown is removed. 1st and 2nd gear midrange RPM is opened to give a more linear power delivery at mid to high throttle positions.
Power mode 2 is un-restricted and changed to a ramped ETV actuation to give a progressive throttle response. This throttle map is made to mimic or is very similar to a quick turn throttle. This progressive throttle map helps drives out of corners faster with less strain on the rider to get to full throttle.
Power mode 3 and 4 have been kept similar to production for a couple rain-day or rain-race power delivery modes. While Power mode 3 is 9% more power than Power mode 4, both modes have an un-restricted 1st and 2nd gear mid-range RPM giving an evenly per gear throttle response and smooth control.
Power mode 5 is left stock. On request we can load an un-restricted FCR mode. This un-restricted mode was developed for our experienced racers who want total control of power delivery. This one-to-one throttle map has no ramp, delay or staggering. The percentage of throttle at the grip, is applied to the throttle bodies. Remember riding those cool flat slide carbs? If you liked that, this mode is what you desire.
Honda uses a 3 Mode engine braking level on this new CBR1000RR. Mode 1 has the most engine brake, while mode 3 has the least amount of engine brake. We have kept engine braking levels, on all power modes, at factory settings. If you desire more engine braking or less, they can be changed when flashed.
Injector balance is corrected.
For racers wheelie control level is corrected vrs TC.
